A woman in the city’s east end had quite a scare on Tuesday morning when she discovered a snake in her bathroom.
She doesn’t own any snakes.
Toronto police believe it may have been in the the building’s drainage system and came up in her bathroom.
She found the reptile on Rowena Drive, near Victoria Park Avenue and Ellesmere Road, around 3 a.m. and immediately called 911.
Police were able to retrieve the snake and it’s now in the care of Toronto Animal Services.
It’s not yet known what type of the snake it is.
